About the event
Boogie Down Boogaloo is the community dance & music component of The Boogaloo Project. Originated in THE BRONX, Amanda created this program to bring people together to express their individual style & attitude through Boogaloo music & dance!
In this project, we'll come together over 5 weeks to learn about the Boogaloo through music, dance & history. This program is for those who want to train more intensively in Boogaloo by learning a choreographed Boogaloo dance routine while also learning about the history of Latin Boogaloo!
We cap off the program with a LIVE performance on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Boogaloo in the Bronx 2023!
